Achieved a significant win on behalf of Provincial Sport Organizations in national sport governance dispute

Our firm acted in a major sports dispute regarding governance of Cricket Canada, which was subject of CBC Fifth Estate documentary and attracted significant media attention. We successfully represented several non-profit societies in an acrimonious dispute over control of the national governing body for the sport of cricket. The case addressed issues of organizational authority and procedural fairness within the national sport body, including the proper exercise of decision-making powers.
