Gabe is a civil litigator practising in constitutional, administrative, and commercial disputes. He acts in high-stakes disputes, including professional discipline, civil forfeiture, defamation, and shareholder and commercial litigation. He has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia and regularly represents clients before administrative tribunals and in private arbitrations. His experience includes significant civil forfeiture proceedings, appellate litigation in multi-party disputes, and matters involving regulatory and governance frameworks.
Gabe is committed to delivering practical solutions to challenging problems. He approaches litigation with efficiency and sound judgement, quickly identifying the factual and strategic landscape and focusing effort on the issues that will shape risk and resolution. His work is defined by careful preparation and precise advocacy, with a consistent focus on advancing his clients’ objectives.
Gabe holds a J.D. from the University of British Columbia and was honoured to receive the Law Society Gold Medal in recognition of achieving the highest aggregate marks in three years of study at law school.
Prior to beginning his legal career, Gabe toured extensively with his band Five Alarm Funk, performing at festivals across North America and receiving two Juno Award nominations. He continues to enjoy composing and performing music.
