Defeated third-party police document production application in civil forfeiture case

Acted for the Director of Civil Forfeiture in complex civil forfeiture proceedings. We successfully resisted an application by the defendants for third party document production from the Vancouver Police Department. The Court addressed the proper scope of third-party document disclosure and relevance in complex fraud-related litigation.
