Obtained Competition Bureau records in major civil forfeiture proceeding

Acted for the Director of Civil Forfeiture in complex civil forfeiture litigation involving alleged proceeds of unlawful activity. The decision addressed procedural and disclosure issues in the context of multi-jurisdictional fraud allegations. We obtained an order for the production of documents held by the Competition Bureau.
